O! Fish: Now Also in Kelapa Gading

O! Fish Kelapa Gading Review by Wanderbites

More fish and chips? Yes, please. After a successful first venture in Gading Serpong, O! Fish recently opened a second outlet in Kelapa Gading area. It is situated a bit far and away from the hustle and bustle of Gading Boulevard area, near the Grand Orchard housing complex, giving you a chance to explore another side of Kelapa Gading. Perhaps it could be the next hip area from the North? We’ll see.

O! Fish Kelapa Gading is built of three floors, bigger than its first home, but still offering the same tasty menus we’ve become familiar with. The first floor is where you can find the coffee bar area, while the second floor is all for seatings. Smokers and natural light hunters can head up straight to the third floor. The monochromatic space feels alive with pops of fun colors from the fish murals, bright yellow “Hey You” banana neon lights, and green potted plants. Overall it feels casual, yet very well-put together.

Now into what you’ve been waiting for. The food. You’re going to find a selection of yummy crustacean dishes. For tried and tested classic flavors, give the fish and chips—with a choice between dory or cobia fish—a go. Our favorite to complete the dish: the sinful and buttery cream sauce. Or if you’re feeling like eating something hot, pick the recent addition to O! Fish: fresh prawns, squids, and clams tossed in a spicy garlic butter sauce. For the complete experience, end your meal with a slice of Ondeh Cake, two-tier pandan cake covered with coconut milk buttercream.

With O! Fish, you know exactly what you’re going to get. Tasty flavors, decent portion, and affordable price. Those three are ultimately what will keep people coming back for more. We, for one, will definitely be a repeat customer if the location is closer. In other words, O! Fish, what if you guys open another outlet in the middle of the city? But for now, congratulations to Dion Wiyoko for the second outlet of O! Fish. In case you are unaware of this fact, the talented Indonesian actor is the one of the men behind this restaurant and the yummy cakes are made his lovely wife Fiona Anthony. We look forward to see more O! Fish-es in the future.
