Yamatoten New Menu Complete Guideline

Yamatoten Abura Soba New Menu Creamy Tarako Abura Soba

Time flies when you’re having fun, indeed! In a little over one year, Yamatoten Abura Soba PIK has gave birth to three additional outlets in Jabodetabek area: Grand Indonesia, Senayan City, and MaxxBox Lippo Village. Their original menu of 4 types of noodle dish has also multiplied into 8, 4 rice dishes, and plenty of sides. Not bad, definitely not bad at all ?

Without further ado, here are 4 of Yamatoten New Menu that was introduced last June, together with the opening of Senayan City outlet.

1. Shigure Abura Soba
An evolution of the popular Shigure Don, Shigure Abura Soba dishes up generous portion of minced pork on top of abura soba. Bloggers and customers have raved about how savory this dish tastes, and they can’t wait to have another bowl. Shigure Abura Soba is hearty, fulfilling, and suitable for those who favor big, bold flavors.

2. Amakara Tori Don
Although Yamatoten has offered the option to substitute pork into chicken since forever, it’s undeniable that the restaurant is closely associated with pork. Amakara Tori Don is Yamatoten’s answer to that. This dish is 100% chicken and will be pleasing to the majority of Indonesian palate. Juicy chicken karaage, hot rice, and sweet-savory sauce? Foolproof recipe of goodness.

3. Creamy Tarako Abura Soba
Now, this one is my personal favorite. If you’re a fan of carbonara sauce, you’re gonna love the creamy soy milk sauce in this dish. But unlike most version of the pasta sauce, it won’t make you feel queasy or nauseated afterwards. Topped with red tarako, Creamy Tarako Abura Soba is one beautiful bowl of soba; I swear it has starred in a couple of my hunger-induced daydreams.

4. Selfmade Potato Salad
When Selfmade Potato Salad makes an appearance for the first time, it looks so darn fine: pale yellow potato, lots of mayo, red bacon bits sprinkled here and there. Then comes the time when you have mix everything with a wooden pestle. You don’t really know when to stop and may have smashed it just a little too hard. You become just a tad skeptical to the visual, but eat some anyway. Thank Lord it tastes much better than it looks. The whole point of this dish is to have fun with it, and so I did!

In conclusion, I have to say that the new dishes are definitely strong contenders to be your new favorite at Yamatoten. Do you usually favor classic Abura Soba or Karami Ontama Abura Soba? Try these 4 and let me know again whether your opinion remains the same.
