Part of being a food filmmaker job is to dare yourself to reach out to strangers.
I met Cindy by chance on Instagram. I like her gallery and decided to give it a shot. I messaged her, let her know that we are food filmmaker based in Jakarta and asked whether she want to take part in the video. She told me she actually hesitated at the beginning, but thank God while she was thinking she mentioned it to her bestfriend which turn out is one of my cousins. What a coincidence! Oh and another funny coincidence, as it turns out, me and Cindy share the same hometown. We are both from Bagansiapi-Api, Riau. What are the odds!
All settled, we took the shot at her place and discovered that making almond milk is not that hard after all. It takes a little bit of effort. So if you feel like those almond milk out there are friggin’ expensive, why not make your own?
By the way, until this video is released Cindy still stick to her decision of not selling her hand-made almond milk. A shame cause they all taste great!
Well, at least you can enjoy the video. And if you do, be kind to share, like, or comment below. Don’t forget to subscribe too. New videos every two weeks!
