1. HOURS: Coffee & More
HOURS is a fresh new concept in Kelapa Gading that offers coffee, food, and art. Spacious dining area with lots of sunlight, and great for events. Read more about HOURS here.

2. KLTR Coffee Roaster
Inspired by Chicago bars in the 1920s, KLTR Coffee Roaster is so much more than a sibling of Koultoura. It’s bolder, darker, and more mature. Always count on KLTR for a great cup of coffee and adventurous dishes in Central Jakara. Read more about KLTR here.

3. Makna Coffee
Makna Creative ventures out of its consulting business and opens a new coffee shop in Kuningan City mall. Perhaps it should come as a no surprise that the straightforward #ServeNothingButCoffee place also has a straightforward name, Makna Coffee. Read more about Makna Coffee here.

4. Ann’s Bakehouse & Creamery
After three years of online hustling and the occasional offline appearances, Ann’s decided that it’s time to greet customers directly with its signature cakes and pastries. The best part about the shop: You can purchase and try the sliced cakes before committing to a whole cake! Read more about Ann’s here.

5. Gopek Restaurant
Sarirasa Group—the parent company behind 1945, TeSaTe, and Sate Khas Senayan—strikes again with its latest creation, Gopek. Serving Indonesian Peranakan food, this restaurant is catering to those who prefer street food style dishes such as Rujak Juhi and Mie Bakso Pangsit.

6. Madagaskar
Investment in decoration is no strange thing in the F&B industry, but Madagaskar brings it up a notch and knocks it out of the park. Imagine eating a mix of Asian and Western dishes while surrounded by lush faux tropical jungle and animals.

7. Momoiro – Pillow Cake Factory
Fluffy and jiggly cakes are definitely a thing these days, thus it’s not hard to guess that the newly opened Momoiro attracts a lot of customers from the get-go. Currently available in 6 flavors.

8. Monkey Tail Cafe
Another cafe has opened to join the crazy competition in PIK area, Monkey Tail Cafe. The cafe looks minimalistic at a glance, but we’ll have to check again in the near future to see what it will specialize in.

9. La Pâte à Choux by Shemaure Patisserie
Started as a home business, La Pâte à Choux by Shemaure Patisserie is now ready to greet its customer at a booth at Gandaria City mall. We haven’t heard much about the brand yet, but those photos of eclairs and choux surely looks inviting.

10. Pok Fan
Pok Fan is a family restaurant in Puri area that serves Chinese-style home-style comfort food. Expect the likes of Pork Belly Mantou and Tea Tofu.

11. Sushi Nara
Kelapa Gading is quickly following PIK as the place to be for stylishly served sushi. The newly opened Sushi Nara provides another take of sushi on a bridge.

12. Reuni Eatery
More food and coffee in Pluit area? Reuni Eatery certainly has a lot of stiff competitions around them, but some photos of their Western-style dishes surely look quite interesting. Clever choice of name as well.

13. Momozen
Borrowing words from its first social media post, Momozen offers “Japanese cuisine with a touch of French.” There’s only a handful of information at the moment, but expect photos of its somen pop out everywhere in the coming weeks.
