My Pullman Bali Experience : Bruno Mars Kind Of Holiday

Hotel Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana (Wanderbites Food & Travel Blog)

Most of the time when I travel, I go the whole nine yards. I’ll be out early in the morning to grab some of the best breakfast in town, check out the city’s best spots, hop a few cafes with friends, shop and shop some more, end with a power dinner, enjoy the evening skyline and then I’ll probably head back to hotel and rest.

This time I try to have a different kind of vacation. The one that’s not bounded by checklist of places to go, hell I don’t even have a list to start with. The one that doesn’t require setting morning alarm or worry about restaurant’s closing time. It’s a staycation in Bali, or basically the fancy word for lazy-ing around all day at the hotel. With that in mind, let me say that I’m happy I get to live the lyrics of Bruno Mars’ Lazy Song at Pullman Bali.

“Today I don’t feel like doing anything …”

Having finished tons of work in the past month, I needed a break desperately. So when I got in the airport and got picked up by Pullman Bali I know I literally don’t have to do anything from that point forward. And as I ride in the comfy coach, I know this is going to be a wonderful holiday.

“Don’t feel like picking up my phone, leave a message at the tone …”

Upon arrival, I was welcomed with fresh cocktail from L-Bar. It’s a very comfy looking lounge that combines the magical ray of sunlight and beautiful interior. I sank myself into one of the sofas and try to finish leftover business-stuff I carried from Jakarta. Made a few phone calls to tick off the last to-do-list. As I shut off the phone, I pull closer the cold towels they served. I sip in the smell of lemongrass as I freshen up and head up to the room.

“I just wanna lay in my bed …”

Pod Chocolate Pullman Bali (Wanderbites Travel Blog)

Here’s one of the best part of Pullman Bali. A stunning view of Kuta right from the room. The deluxe room of Pullman Bali is definitely worth it. It makes the idea of staying in the hotel much less claustrophobic, plus I get to take a proper sunset photo without having to move from the comfort of an air-conditioned room. Ain’t that great? Oh and have I mentioned the Pod’s Chocolate? Pullman Bali surely knows me well. The next I did after taking the beautiful photos were chilling on the bed, TV on, and mouth munching on these scrumptious chocolate. The Pod Rocks is definitely a winner. Sweet layer of dark chocolate with caramel and crunchy filling.

“Cause in my castle I’m the freaking man …”

For the next two days I made the most of my time in Pullman Bali enjoying the facilities: spa, gym, connectivity room, restaurants and many more. I’ll get to that one by one on my next post, but for now I must admit I begah to enjoy this Bruno Mars kind of holiday. Doing nothing at the comfort of Pullman Bali’s luxury is top notch. It’s a castle of my own, and I am the freaking man.

I look forward to holidays like this. In the mean time, stay tuned for the next post on their restaurants and spa 😉
