Two roads diverge at the entrance of Sana Sini and each of them diverges again into another two.
Holy-mother-of-food! There are like endless options here! The restaurant is so big, they literally print a map so that there won’t be another case where a customer finished brunch and found out there was an island of Indonesian food they missed on trying.
Indeed, if you’re looking for variety of cuisines, Sana Sini at Pullman Hotel Thamrin is one of the best places to glutton out, if not the best.
I tried everything that attracted my eyes. I tried the Brie cheese, German bread, Chicken with Raspberry, Salmon, Steamed Dimsum, Beef Satay, Chicken Satay, Lamb Satay, Salmon Belly Sashimi, Mango and Raspberry Sorbet, Roti Prata, Nasi Biryani, Lotus Paste Pao, Apple Fritter, and a dozen little nitbits of others.
How could I fit them all in my belly, you asked. I guess that’s the talent of a foodie. We have developed some sort of second belly in case of emergencies like this. LOL.
Nah, we just have normal stomach with flexible-stretchable muscles. Speaking of normal, like I’ve always preached, taste is personal. The probability is slim that I would love all the food I tried, but there’s plenty that I find worth coming back for. Those dishes are the ones that I mentioned above.
Now, at IDR 490.000,++ for me it is a reasonable splurge for special occasions. When there’s no such event, well, it’s perfectly fine to indulge your inner glutton once in a while. I read HSBC is currently having a promotion: 20% off during weekdays and 30% off on weekends, how about that to get you moving? You know what they say: life begins at the end of your three-hour-all-you-can-eat-brunch.
Have fun getting lost in options at Sana Sini.
